The Forge

A relic is shaped not by one hand, but by the smiths who tend the fire. The Forge is where artists, builders, and storytellers cast their own work into the Ordinario lineage — under our umbrella, on Bitcoin, forever.

What The Forge Is

Three Pillars of the Fire

The Forge is not a grant. It is a partnership. We hand you the heat, the metal, and the anvil — what you shape is yours, but it carries Ordinario's mark.

Inscription Credits
Selected creators receive funded inscription budgets covering network fees and platform costs. You build. We pay to put it on-chain.
Distribution Reach
Your drop is amplified through Ordinario's holder base, Twitter, Discord, and partner communities. Whitelist pools shared by default.
Technical Scaffold
Inscription tooling, art pipelines, mint page templates, marketplace listings — the infrastructure used to build Ordinario is yours to use.

The Three Ranks

Smith · Forger · Master

Every cohort is shaped across three ranks. Apply for the one that fits the scope of what you're building — promotions happen mid-cycle for those who deliver.

  • Permanent placement in the Ordinario universe
  • Custom companion drop coordination
  • Treasury-backed liquidity for secondary

From Application to Inscription

The Four Strikes of the Hammer

Every cohort moves through the same four phases. We do not rush the metal.

I
The Submission
Apply with your concept, portfolio links, and the rank you are pursuing. Applications are read by the Holder Council. Decisions in 14 days.
II
The Tempering
Accepted creators enter a 30-day shaping window. Mentorship sessions, art reviews, inscription planning, marketing prep — the work that makes a launch survive its first day.
III
The Inscription
Your drop is inscribed on Bitcoin through the Forge's funded pipeline. Mint pages go live. Whitelist pools cross-pollinate with Ordinario's. Revenue settles 70/30 to the creator.
IV
The Mark
Completed cohorts are inscribed permanently into the Ordinario lore archive. Past creators retain access to the Forge tooling and Discord for life. The mark is not removable.

Questions At The Anvil

Frequently Asked

Do I need to hold an Ordinario inscription to apply? +
No. The Forge is open to creators regardless of holder status. Holders do receive priority review for the Smith and Forger ranks, and Master rank is partially weighted toward existing holders or sponsored applicants.
Who owns the work I create under the Forge? +
You do. The Forge funds inscription costs and distribution, but artistic and commercial rights remain entirely with the creator. Ordinario does not take an equity position or perpetual royalty stake.
How does the 70/30 revenue split work? +
Primary mint revenue settles to the creator's payout address at 70%, with 30% returning to the Ordinario treasury to fund future Forge cohorts. Secondary sales are 100% creator-controlled — the Forge takes no royalty on resale.
What if my application is declined? +
Declined applicants receive written feedback from the Holder Council and may reapply for the next cohort. Many strong Season II creators were Season I declines who returned with refined work.
Is the Forge open to non-art projects? +
Yes. Writers, world-builders, recursive inscription engineers, sound artists, and lore archivists have all received Forge backing in past test cohorts. The medium is unrestricted — the standard is the integrity of the work.
